Build the most awesome mobile app using the power of Salesforce Platform. Create it from scratch and blow our minds away! You can begin coding right away, but note you'll need to be a paid, registered attendee of Dreamforce 2013 in order to participate in the hack. Eligibility
You are eligible to participate in and enter the Salesforce $1 Million Hackathon provided you meet the following requirements:
- You are, and each of your team members is, at least 18 years old and the age of majority in your/his/her jurisdiction of residence.
- You are, and each of your team members is, a registered attendee of Dreamforce 2013. See the Dreamforce website for event registration information.
- Neither you nor any of your team members are an employee of salesforce.com or its related companies as of September 1, 2013 or during the Hackathon; nor an immediate family member (parent, sibling, spouse, child) of or household member to an employee.
- Neither you nor any of your team members are involved in any part of the creation, promotion, execution or administration of this Hackathon.
You must register your team in advance. Register early, as spots are limited!!
Requirements
Build the most amazing mobile application using Salesforce Platform. Your submission must include:
- A mobile application useable by the judges (see official rules for more details)
- Login credentials to the Salesforce development environment used by the application (credentials should not be to a production environment or expose production data)
- A 250 word description submitted in English of the application
- A maximum 2-minute demo video of the working application uploaded to your YouTube or Vimeo account, with a link to the demo video provided through the submission process (see official rules for more details)
- Link to the working source code; if the app is designed for a native platform it should include a complete working project that can be compiled.

How to enter
To enter, you'll need to first make sure you have a ticket to Dreamforce. You can either register for a full conference pass or a special Hacker Pass, which gets you access to the Developer Zone. There's a limited number of Hacker Passes available, so be sure to get yours now!
Once you have your Dreamforce access, you'll need to sign up your team to take part in the hackathon. You can participate as a team of one, or build a larger team. Note that you'll want to have all your team members identified when you sign up, and again, those spaces are limited so don't delay.
Finally, you'll use ChallengePost to submit your hackathon entry.
You will build your mobile application using Salesforce Platform. Note that your submission must not have been previously released, and the application must have been developed for this hackathon. Your final entry will need to include:
